Fire Rated Doors FireStar® Models 700 & 700c
Wayne Dalton incorporates one standardized component design for all FireStar® doors regardless of size and utilizes fewer parts than other models. This helps to ensure more accurate installations and reduces the possibility of potential service calls in the future.
High-Quality Construction
- Patent-pending planetary gear on the drop-out mechanism ensures years of reliable service and drop-out performance.
- Lift-up operation control device utilizing a clutch plate and unique counterbalance technology to drop the door in the event of a fire
- UL/ULC/FM rated; Conforms to NFPA Standard 80
- Up to 4-hour and 3-hour Class A label in UL, ULC
- Regulates the installation and maintenance of assemblies and devices used to protect openings in walls, floors, and ceilings against the spread of fire and smoke
- Tested and approved to meet the requirements of well-known agencies, such as Underwriters Laboratories and Factory Mutual
Reliable Design
- Factory-tested and approved for a minimum of 20,000 cycles, the FireStar® door can be used and easily tested regularly without concerns of premature failure.
- Non-Tension Release provides the ease of simply opening the door to reset the drop mechanism after ‘an event.’
