A major advantage of these doors is their ability to accommodate an Impact Section. This reinforced bottom section is designed for areas with forklift and other warehouse traffic. Its impact-resistant composite skin surrounds an expanded polystyrene core and helps reduce damage, repairs, and operational downtime. Model 216 and Model 220 are well suited for manufacturing plants, production facilities, warehouses, storage facilities, agricultural buildings, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings.
Choose Model 216 when maximum steel strength and rugged construction are the priority.
And choose Model 220 when you need a durable industrial door with larger available dimensions and strong impact resistance.

Model 216 — Heavy-Duty 16-Gauge Steel
The Model 216 is the heavier-duty option, featuring 16-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel and reinforced vertical stiles. It is designed to withstand severe weather, rough use, and security hazards, making it a strong choice for demanding industrial facilities. The standard model is available up to 28′ 2″ wide and 18′ 1″ high.
Model 220 — Industrial-Strength 20-Gauge Steel
The Model 220 provides 20-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel construction with high impact resistance and industrial strength. It is available in standard openings up to 30′ 2″ wide and 22′ 1″ high, making it particularly useful for larger commercial and industrial openings.
